Cait & Andy
There’s nothing quite like capturing the magic of winter wedding. And when that wedding takes place in the stunning greenhouse of Frederik Meijer Gardens, it becomes an unforgettable experience.
I had the pleasure of photographing an intimated winter wedding at the Meijer Gardens when the bride and groom needed to move up their wedding date. This venue has natural beauty, a unique atmosphere, and recently added a stunning new addition to their gardens which Cait + Andrew were among the first couples to be photographed in the new space.
They couldn’t have made a better choice.
Walking into the greenhouse, I was immediately struck by the lush greenery and colorful flowers that surrounded us. We were also greeted by some newly hatched butterflies.
Despite the chilly temperature outside, the greenhouse felt warm and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for intimate wedding photos.
As the bride and groom exchanged their vows, I captured the raw emotion and genuine love that radiated from them. The natural light and vibrant surroundings of the greenhouse added a magical touch to every shot, creating images that were truly breathtaking and timeless.
After the ceremony, we explored the gardens together some more and took advantage of the stunning scenery and catpure candid moments between the newlyweds and their guests. The Frederik Meijer Gardens provided a unique and beautiful setting for portraits that were both intimate and romantic.
As the night progressed, the greenhouse transformed into a cozy and inviting space for the reception. With low light, it felt like we were eating dinner underneath the stars.
Looking back on this intimate winter wedding at the Meijer Gardens, I’m reminded how magical and special it was to capture such a moment in time. The gardens provided the perfect setting for a unique and unforgettable wedding, and I’m honored to have been a part of Cait + Andrew’s big day.
